An Informed Diner Is a Happy Diner: Why EntréeLink Publishes Local Restaurant Menus
Before you decide where to eat, you want two answers: what's on the menu, and what it costs. Starting this month, EntréeLink is publishing full menus with prices from restaurants around northern Palm Beach County, whether we deliver for them or not.
Why menus?
Finding a current menu should be easy. Too often it isn't. Some restaurant websites still link to a PDF from two years ago. Some only show their menu inside an ordering app. And prices on delivery apps can differ from what you pay at the counter, so it is hard to know what a dinner really costs.
So I am doing it the old-fashioned way. I sit down at the restaurant, photograph the printed menu they hand their guests, and publish it here with every item and price typed out so you can search it.
Whether we deliver for them or not
This is not a list of our delivery partners, and it is not advertising. I spent more than 30 years in restaurant delivery, and one thing never changed: an informed diner is a happy diner. People who know what they are ordering, and what it will cost, enjoy the meal more and come back more often. That is good for diners and good for every restaurant in town.
If one of these pages helps you plan a night out, settle a family debate about lunch, or find the matzo ball soup you have been craving, it did its job, no matter who brings the food to your table.
What you will find on every menu page
- Photos of every page of the printed menu, straightened and easy to read on your phone.
- The full menu in text, with prices, so you can scan it quickly or search for one dish.
- The address and a link for directions.
- The date it was photographed, so you know how current it is.
Keeping it accurate
Menus and prices change, so each page shows when it was photographed, and I will update them as I revisit. EntréeLink is not affiliated with the restaurants we feature unless we say so on the page.
Restaurant owners: if your menu has changed, or you would like your restaurant featured, send me your current menu and I will update it.
First up: TooJay's in Jupiter
Our first menu is TooJay's at 4050 U.S. Hwy 1 in Jupiter: brunch until 2 PM, hot pastrami stacked three ways, potato pancakes, matzo ball soup and the famous Killer Cake. More restaurants in Jupiter, Tequesta, Palm Beach Gardens, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach and Hobe Sound are on the way. You can browse them all on our local menus page.
Which menu should we add next?
